Chapter 33: The Promised Paradise

Isabelle’s Point of View:

I was fucked up.

My eyes were still fixated at his perfectly greyish light black–shady eyes. Shady, in both senses.

I had come here with the certainty that I would get him to admit that he speaks bullshit when he’s drunk, or maybe to end up with a huge amount of money for my college payment. Originally, the thought of him paying for me sounded so ridiculous, I didn’t even wanna present it. I mean I say that it’d be embarrassing for him if he couldn’t pay — but wouldn’t it be more embarrassing for me?

I didn’t want to give that perspective to him. Obviously, when I looked at him once again through the eyes of someone who heard that he could potentially want to sleep with me again — it was weird. I thought I hated him to the core, but apparently, I just needed a little push and here I was—half naked in front of him, being paid over 50 millions to spend a night with the person I hated and loved for the longest time.
