“I’ll accept whatever he has in mind,” He kept a hand on my cheek and heat rushed to my cheeks, as I felt a wave of emotions run through me. “And I’ll make this right one way or the other.”

She looked at me with the eyes that told a thousand stories but she didn’t utter a word. Her expressions were sad, rightfully so—but her eyes were still full of hope that maybe everything will be fine.
