He is telling the truth

Next morning, the ladies got dressed and ready to set out to the office. Isabella looked better after she talked with Tina the previous night.

   That morning, it didn't appear as if she was the same person who lied that an insect had perched her eyes.

  Only heavens know the extent to which the insect was powerful enough to have been able to perch on both of her eyes at the same time.

   They drove in Isabella's car. Tina's car was still in the force headquarters after she was attacked. Jordan had suggested that she shouldn't use the car until the case was over.

   When they arrived, Jordan and Kunle hadn't arrived. The two ladies waited nearly two hours before Jordan walked in, followed behind by Kunle.
