“Rune.” I say the moment I enter the house.

“Rune!” I scream whilst walking up the stairs.

“What is it Aurelia, I’m in my room.” He responds.

I stop in my tracks when I notice Kane walking in front of me, his hands are in his pockets while he stares directly behind me. As if he's trying to avoid eye contact. And as usual he’s in a suit.I squint my eyes at him and stand directly in front of him. He stops walking and finally looks directly at me.

“Move.” He says while staring at me.

“Why have you been ignoring me?” I ask and immediately regret because now I feel like a desperate geek.

He ignores my question and tries to sidestep me but I just move along with him still refusing to let him pass.

“I do not like games Aurelia, I have a meeting to attend.”

“You didn’t seem to mind playing games when you were beneath me just a couple of weeks ago-”
