My words made Flynn open a very brief smile. His hands were in the space between us, as if resisting that temptation that I also felt to want to touch or be as close to him as possible. I had to contain all my sighs and any sign that I would be shaken, because I had the impression that Flynn would advance to kiss me in the slightest gesture that I was in need of the security he provided me. I couldn't do that there. I couldn't give in to the desire. So I decided it was time to get out of there, because it was no longer characterized as an escape.

I started to move away with some farewell sounds and thanks. I pulled the door and pulled the backpack after passing, closed the door and started walking. Flynn approached before I could get around the car, and he took up all the space in front of me, although he didn't dare to touch me.

"I'd like to meet you again, Tasha" asked him in a hoarse voice.

"I don't have time for anything, you know," I replied, shrugging. "If you want, we can talk
