Compromised

"Shawn, where is Nikolai? Is he alright?" Ivy inquired with worry when she noticed that Nikolai is nowhere to be seen in their Suite.

Shawn gave her an assuring smile.

"Ivy, don't worry. Boss will be fine. It's not easy to outweigh the boss. He is smarter, faster and stealthy than the men Christian sent. You don't worry. Let's go. I am sure the Boss will be back soon" he assured her.

But Ivy is stressed. Based on what Shawn just shared, she understood that Christian sent those men to kidnap her and hurt Nikolai.

'That Christian deserves what he is going to get' she thought angrily.

In the basement, Nikolai found the men waiting in front of the elevators.

'Stupid men. They took the bait ' he thought to himself. It's him who sent an empty car to the basement to divert their attention from Shawn.

Nikolai banged a car parked nearby and hid behind a pillar beside the car.

All the five men turned to look in the direction from where the sound came from.

"What was that noise?"
