"You thought I wouldn't believe you?" he asked evenly.

Ivy didn't reply. She honestly thought he wouldn't believe her at all. She doesn't know where they stand despite sharing a bed a few times. He is engaged to someone else and he is not the affectionate type. But she on the other hand hold her emotions on her sleeve for everyone to see.
