But Daniel wasn't done yet. "And what about that fire at your warehouse?" he continued, his voice rising. "Laura told you that I was responsible for it, but you couldn't do anything about it, could you?" Daniel smirked, enjoying the way Mr. Markson squirmed under his gaze.

Mr. Markson was clouded with guilt and was visibly uncomfortable. He didn't want to continue the conversation with Daniel and his tone revealed that. Suddenly, he stood up from the couch and spoke with a commanding voice, "I think it's time for you to leave my house."

Daniel, with a mischievous expression on his face, looked straight at Mr. Markson and asked, "Why are you so worried? Are you afraid that your little secret will be exposed? We both know how much your daughter has suffered in my hands, but you are the one to blame for everything she's been through." The tension in the room was palpable as the two men faced off against each other.
