Chapter 30 - The Culprit
"I need to know!" Yashvir's voice echoed through the courtroom, making everyone flinch, including Ahankara who stood beside him. The entire staff of the Palace was present there, as well as each member of the Royal Family, and the nobles who spent most of the time within the Palace walls.
Yashvir walked down the raised platform that his throne was set on, and made his way to his mother. "How could you let this happen, Maharani Sa?" He addressed her formally, as he spoke like the Yuvraj of Kalang, and not the son of Hansa Bai.
"Yuvraj," Hansa Bai said softly, her tone calm and composed. "It must have been a coincidence, why would anyone deliberately try to harm Rajkumari Ahankara?"
