It has been at least about one hour since we fled into the woods. James and I, along with a few other men, were with us. Nuella had gone in the opposite direction. She had said she was going to lure the witch to herself.

James and I have at least killed about 100 men that crossed our paths. We killed them silently without using bullets; it was better that way because we didn't want to draw attention to our hiding spot. Hearing Nuella say that the witch helped Frederick forge bullets that could actually kill me had shocked me to my bones.

Due to that fact, I had to be very careful and play the waiting game. When Nuella, James, and I reached an intersection in the woods that was divided into two pathways, I had dropped my cloth at the entrance of the left side of the woods where Nuella said I should run into, with hope that the witch would sniff my scent and send Frederick in to find me while she would go in search of Nuella's energy.
