My fingers remained crossed the goddess created the most perfect opportunity for Matt to meet Maeve.

I had a few things of sentimental value back in the Darkmoon Pack that I wasn't given the chance to take along with me.

Maeve knew me so well, he knew just how much the little box carved out of an oak tree meant so much to me. It couldn't be hard for Matt to stealthily bring it back here for me.

I paced the room I was offered to stay in. I did nothing here other than to eat and wait for the days to go by.

It was a lot easier now Faye was gone. It was more peaceful.

I didn't get to meet Flynn and Faye's family. I didn't get to wander to the wing where they all stayed in the mansion. They were not curious enough to want to meet me until this evening.

I was having dinner with them. They were willing to have me share tables with them. Or, did they not know I was an Omega?

Maybe Faye had hidden that information from them which was quite unlikely.
