The celebration died down rather quick with night time slowly drawing to an end, Tala opened the door of her house and stepped in to show Ray, but realised he still stood outside.

"What's wrong?" 

"It's a vampire thing, we can't enter someone's house if we're not invited in"

Tala smiled "That's kinda sweet"

"Sweet? Keeps us from getting people in their sleep"

She laughed then took his hand "You may enter"

Ray allowed her to guide him in then took a good look around, it was very self crafted, kitchen and living room basically one, the living room had only one wooden couch and it seems to have been split in half, the other half a makeshift working station.

"All this... It seems self made?" He asked touching the kitchen table.

"My pack helped me build it, but everything inside here, I built myself using the wood in the forest, so, some things might be a little flimsy, I suggest not sitting on that couch, it will break"
