A moment later, I couldn't hear any noise, and it became very clear that they were gone. I carefully peeked through the spy hole, and there was no one in the passage.

"Moon goddess! Is this how humans behave? And why would she want to fight a stranger? I don't even understand what she meant when she said I took her man's attention away from her. What man? I guess that lady must be mentally drained." I thought while I limped back to my room pacing through to make sure no one saw me.

Getting closer, the door was opened, and fear struck in. I inched closer, gripping my hands on the wall. I peeked but saw no one. I immediately remembered that she left the door open while chasing me, and I slipped inside and locked the door.

My tender hands reached my face, and I felt pain. I went to the mirror to take a closer look at my face.
