I shoved her payment into her hand before opening the door for her. I ran my hands through my hair before throwing a vase against the wall. I shrunk down and rested my head in my hands. I started sobbing as I sat in front of my bedroom door. Paige is dead. Viktor Tchaikovsky killed her. And it's all my fault, I did this to Paige. This is my war and I dragged Paige into it.
