Chapter 10 - Mason

Brianna had just proposed a deal which would solve all of my problems. I wouldn’t have to force her to be my mate against her will as long as I would be willing to wait for us to get to know each other better. Her father wouldn’t be too thrilled with the arrangement, he had wanted me to mark her at the party but I had already decided that I was going to go against his wishes.

Public markings were humiliating and I would never put my Luna through that. He would probably be annoyed when he realised that I was deviating from his plan but I doubted that he would say anything at such a public event. He wouldn’t want to risk me living up to my reputation by putting him to death, and he had to know that he wouldn’t stand a chance against me in a fight.
