Chapter 62

Adrian's eyes didn't leave Scarlett that morning. He admired how beautiful and calm she looked in her sleep as he lovingly stroked her hair. She was sleeping in his arms, and he didn't want to wake her.

The sun had started to rise slowly, but it was still pretty dark. Scarlett moved a little, stretching her legs as her eyes slowly went open. She smiled as soon as her eyes met his, and he placed a kiss on her forehead.

“Good morning, beautiful.” He whispered, moving a strand of hair on her face away to be able to see her face perfectly. She blushed and snuggled closer to him, hoping that all of that wouldn't turn out to be a dream.
