Chapter 73

The car came to a halt and Vivian took her hands off the steering wheel, shaking from fear and looking around, wondering where she was. The gun was still pointed at her head, and her captor refused to move it, he didn't even speak to her throughout the drive. Her heart thumped loudly against her chest, afraid that her death was near.

“Pl.. please don't kill me. What do you want? Money? I'll give you lots of money, but please don't hurt me.” She pleaded, breathing heavily, her hands up in the air.

“Shut the fuck up!” Her captor barked at her before getting out of the car in a hurry. He rushed to the front, pulled her out, and kept the gun pointed to her head. She let out a shriek, shaking at the spot, afraid to make any sudden movements.

He was wearing a mask, which he slowly took off and Vivian's eyes widened. Her soul almost left her body when her captor revealed himself.

“Maxwell?” She exclaimed, her eyes glued to his grinning face.
