Raquel screamed again, but nobody appeared. People at the other side of the road were stunned by her scream and looked at her like she was crazy.

Raquel inhaled sharply and hid back her knife.

“If this is your plan to drive me insane, then you have committed a mistake!” Raquel screamed at the top of her voice, she blinked back her tears that threatened to fall from her eyes.

She was going to be strong and not anyone trampled on her again. She would never berate herself again to the status of someone like Eva.

Evs might be Luna right now, but in her eyes, she will always remain the petty slave that once licked her feet. That day was going to come again, very soon.

“Whoever you are, don't come out of your hiding because I will kill you for trying to scare me or rather drive me crazy” Raquel talked to no one in particular.

“Tell Eva that I might have shown my weak side today, but there won't be a next time” Raquel snarled and walked away.
