Author's POV.

Baron walked closer to Beta Kyle's bed, his steps were quiet and dangerous.

He reached Beta Kyle's side and he smirked. He was going to inject the silver directly into Beta Kyle's system.

Baron placed the sharp edge of the syringe close to Beta Kyle's arm, but as he was about to inject the silver, Beta Kyle caught his hand.

Baron's eyes widened in shock, the syringe fell out of his hand, and he tried struggling out of Beta Kyle's tight grip.

Beta Kyle's eyes slowly opened, and he asked; “What are you doing?”

Baron was trying hard not to be obvious and nervous.

“I work here, and I was sent to give you your medicine,” Baron replied, but faked his voice.

Beta Kyle was still weak, and he couldn't argue further; therefore he released his hand and succumbed to unconsciousness.

Baron gasped and stepped back immediately, he was almost discovered and that scared him terribly. He patted his chest gently to calm him down.
