Liam's POV.

I gazed at the witch for a few seconds and smiled.

"It's a pity that you can't see the future, you would have been the most perfect witch I had ever met" I said, mockingly.

"You have certainly not met any witch before because if you had, then you would know how to speak to someone of much greater power than you. I don't blame you though, you speak carelessly because of your position as an Alpha" the witch said with a blank expression on her face.

"A position that you did not earn" the witch added with a smirk.

First, I saw a real expression on her pretty face.

"How did you know that?. Oh, your grandson must have said a lot of things to you" I muttered and locked my hands together.

"The poor boy hardly has any time for himself and it's all your fault, he only visited me to drop your payment. He looked pitiable”

“I really felt sorry for him that he had chosen to protect the wrong person" The witch muttered while looking at me.
