Chapter 44

Valerie wondered where Justin could have gone. While everyone chatted away about what Mrs smith had said or done to help their lives. Valerie stood up to look for Justin. She hoped he wasn't trying anything stupid.

She saw the stairs and decided to take them. While she looked for Justin, she could explore the house too, "I mean no one was watching me, were they?" she thought inwardly.

There were a total of eight doors on that floor. She looked around and saw that there were other stairs on the other side that had four doors as well. She panted heavily as the stairs she had just taken had been one hell of a staircase.

She opened the first door and it was very dark inside, the windows were closed and so were the curtains, she wanted to put on the light but she decided not to since it would take her focus off what she was doing.
