"W-what? Are you s-serious?" I stuttered.
He hugs me tighter, "Sshh, silence. He can hear us if we talk louder than this one. He could be watching us right now."
The realization then dawned on me after a moment, I secretly look around, hoping to see something strange or suspicious but of course, I didn't see any. Sensing that I finally understand his point, Sean advises me to stop acting that way or else we'll be doomed.
"What you are thinking is right. We are in Dr. Jhero Colleti's lair, so, therefore, he has access to everything. There are invisible cameras and recorders installed around. So he could hear us, and see us."
"But how?" I ask in a whispered voice, careful not to be heard by the recorders installed around. "That's invading someone's privacy, and there is a law saying that you couldn't put hidden recorders and cameras on someone's private space without consent."
