Straightforward question.

"What exactly did you say?" Arthur's mother questioned me, her brows slightly arched.

She wasn't looking at me with curiosity; instead, she was looking at me with disgust on her face.

I was so irritated that I turned around and decided to excuse myself from this house before I got a serious headache because I've been through enough in life and explaining myself to Arthur's mother wasn't worth it.
