Whirlwind emotion.

"Let's visit my parents." Arthur declared.

He'd just made his point with a solemn expression and a firm gaze.

"Why's your gaze like that?"

"Like… like what?" Arthur responded to my question with another question.

I let out a breath.

"Why are you looking so serious?" I inquired because I couldn't figure out why Arthur was staring at me so intently.

When he said we needed to talk, I was afraid he was going to break up with me.

I'm not sure why I had that thought, but I was scared.

'What if his mother had called him while I was outside and told him not to return to his mansion with me?'

'What if his mother had suddenly hated me and she had realized that if Arthur spends time with a cancer patient it would do him no good.'

I have a lot going on in my head, but after hearing Arthur's statement, I felt a little better.
