He knew exactly what he was doing with her as making a big commotion was only going to invite unwanted attention towards him. He was going to stay away from her at all costs as too many people were keeping their eyes on him. His single wrong move could make him pay a very hefty price at times like this. With all this experience of handling things on his own all these years, he was just getting bigger and better in his place while everyone else found it very difficult to do anything against him in response.
He knew very well at times like this no matter how much he tries to hide things someone will be able to find out something about him so he made sure only those things which matter less to him will get out so tired he can handle things accordingly as staying quiet in his place
