Chapter 37: It was just a small test

Fiona nodded and briefly explained the situation that had just occurred.

Harold quickly stepped forward to defuse the situation, "It's all a misunderstanding. Eranthe, just let her go. It doesn't look good if we make a scene like this."

Eranthe didn't expect Harold to take her side, and she, expressionless, released Zora, thinking the confrontation was over.

However, Zora, still furious, attempted to strike Eranthe. Without hesitation, Eranthe dropped her bag, ready to defend herself.

Frank intervened once again, forcefully pulling Zora away, almost throwing her to the ground. "Have you lost your mind? If you're sick, go see a doctor. If anyone brings her to my place again, they won't have any friends left," Frank declared sternly.

Harold awkwardly touched his nose, feeling uncomfortable about the whole situation.

Eranthe, not wanting to deal with them any longer, picked up her bag and headed downstairs.
