“My little angel, how are you?’ I asked eagerly, lifting her into my hands as I placed a soft and passionate kiss on her forehead.

The smile on her face was so bright and welcoming that it melted my heart immediately. I can't believe I already missed out some years from her life but I was going to make it up to her.
