Nick's pov;
Turning on the phone and looking at the time again and again made me worried about Elena more and more. Before I met Elena, my weekends are like staying in my place or being with Andrew or going to mixers and being with girls and passing time leisurely but now whenever weekend come, I'll look for the restaurant where I'm going to eat with her or I'll wait for her message where she planned to eat along with me. I don't know when it changed like this but I kinda liked the new routine more than the previous one. I smiled while thinking about how I turned after seeing Elena.

Elena's pov; I couldn't open my eyes since it felt heavy but I was able to smell it... It was something different when I sniffed. It felt like... medicine, antiseptic and soaps? Where am I? I tried to open my eyes but I couldn't, so I tried opening it slowly and opened in the end. When I opened my eyes, it hurt because of the bright light. I blinked again and again and got adapted to the light and I could see where I am properly now. There was a white ceiling above me and I came to know that I was lying on a bed. I tried to move my head to either side to look where I was. The setup, it looked like… A hospital? Why am I in the hospital? When I tried to remember what happened... Last night… I was going with Matt… The accident!!! "MATTT!!" , I shouted out of my lungs. I tried to get up from the bed but before doing that someone ran into the room and stopped me by saying, "You shouldn't do that mam, lie down on the bed, please."

Elena's pov;Five days have passed with a routine of taking a lot of tablets at every meal of the day with the doctor checking up in the morning following the ice pack massage for my hand at night before going to sleep. Finally, they changed my bandage around my head so I got a new one today. I walked around my room with my right hand tied around my neck with a strap. It felt different in the beginning keeping my hand still but I got used to it as days went by but at the same time I wanted it to recover soon. After the nurse was done with the bandage, Matt asked me, "Are you ready?"I nodded with a bright smile. It's been days since I got to see the outside world. Hahaha."Take care, Elena." The nurse said with a smile on her face while leaving the room.After she left, I walked along with Matt out of the room. He walked beside me to make sure that I didn't get hit by someone or something.
