Chapter Fifty Five:

The car pulled up in front of the house and Damian opened the car's door for his wife. They walked into the house, fingers entwined and broad smile plastered on their faces.

"Where are you coming from?" A voice drew their attention .

"And who are you to ask that?" Damian asked rudely.

"Damian....She's just worried. I'm sure she didn't see us last night that's why," Maya said flashing a smile towards Amber.

"Yeah..but if a husband and wife decide to spend the night outside, who's she to question them," Damian asked.

"I was just worried....like Maya said," Amber quickly spoke.

"You don't have to...." Damian said rudely and started climbing up the stairs.

Maya mouthed a sorry and flashed an apologetic smile towards Amber before following Damian.
