Erin’s POV

A glimmer of a smile spread across Judy’s lips. I stood frozen in the center of a small town in the human world. It wasn’t far from the border into the werewolf world. 

Jill remained tied to a pole, struggling to get herself free. I could see the pure horror on her face and the tears forming in her eyes once she realized how serious this situation really was. 

Judy had the ability to form bomb dust from her fingertips and this entire town reeked of it. Jill reeked of it. 

There was enough bomb dust to explode most of the human world. All Judy had to do was flick a match and everything would turn to dust. 

I could use my abilities to wash the dust away, but not quickly enough and not without Judy noticing. 

I glanced around the town; there weren’t many people outside, but there were some passing by. However, they were frozen in place. Which meant Gavin used his abilities to freeze time without me even noticing.
