I rushed to him, “Jason, it’s not what you think, I…” he took my hands which I now had on him off as he turned to Jason.

“This is what you’ve always wanted, right?” He asked as he turned to leave but then I rushed so I was in front of him.

“Jason, no, don’t do this. It’s not what you think, I just came here because he’d promised to tell me the secret and…”

“The secret? Really Amanda? Is that how much you doubt me?” He asked me and it was at that moment I knew I’d messed up, big time.

“I’m so sorry.” I told him as tears started to well up in my eyes but then he turned to Jason, anger evident in his eyes before walking away.

I made to run after him but then Jason held on to my hand. “Don’t you want to know what the secret is?” He asked me.

I pushed his hand off. “To hell with your secret, I don’t want to know, not anymore.” I told him in anger as I ran after Jason.
