AMANDA’s POV…..

Despite the fact that we had now being kept safe in a basement, I could still feel my heart thumping as the sounds of swords scared me. I knew there were still many who hadn’t made it here and their screams baffled me.

I said my silent prayers as the screams of many soldiers before their loud thud made me feel even more insecure. What If they found out where we were being kept and took us one by one? These thoughts scared the hell out of me, I just wished they wouldn’t come true.

Luckily, Tristan was here with me. I missed Cora still but he was still here to keep me company and I couldn’t say it was a one sided thing because I was doing so since the rest wouldn’t associate with him considering the fact he was an omega. I swallowed hard, at this point, I hated Jason and Brianna more because had they not done what they did, I would not have gotten drunk and then had a one night stand with a stranger.
