Chapter ninety eight

Tears streamed down my cheeks as I felt myself being dragged on the floor. I wanted to scream but It felt like whatever I had being injected with prevented me from speaking. It was heartbreaking, extremely and I kept on trying to get away from whoever was doing this but I was just too weak to do so.

I was trying my best to keep my eyes open but I couldn’t and I hated the fact that I was so helpless at the moment. Why was I so foolish? How could I have being so foolish to that extent? He had literally being standing right in front of me and all I had to do at that moment was call out to him but I had to be so full of pride and now look where it had gotten me.

I swallowed as I felt my throat burn, it was like I had just swallowed an acid and after some time, I stopped getting dragged. I thought I would have gone unconscious at this time but I hadn’t and I could hear mumblings.
