Chapter thirty two

JASON’S POV

For a minute, I observed how hard she struggled to get away my grip. She had a cold look on her face and that was accompanied with disgust and irritation.

My heart shattered to tiny bits when it dawned on me that the expression she had on her face while talking to the omega was a lot more different. She had been calm while tending to his wounds. I even caught a glimpse of a soothing smile on her face.

My blood started boiling immediately and I could feel my wolf drowning in jealousy as well.

“Why do you hate me that much?” I asked inwardly as I glared at her intently.

“I’m not about to hurt you”, I finally said as I tried to make things clear. Perhaps she struggled that much because she thought that I was about to do something bad to her.

Her eyes were cold, and a deeper look into it showed fear and uncertainty. Inasmuch as she tried to remain firm and aplomb, I could see how she feared for her life.
