CHAPTER 3

After what happened at the party para hina-hunt si Ellie sa mga nangyari. When she left him there, she stayed with Via and Bryce. Halos hindi na siya umalis sa tabi nila but when her mom called her because they're going home already. Sumunod si Ellie nun and bid them goodbye. She also smiled at him awkwardly.

He just nod and smirk. Wth! Ano yun?! Did he just smirk at me?! That's what on her mind that time ngunit inalis nalang iyon sa isip ni Ellie, dahil baka mali lang ang pagka-describe niya sa naging reaksyon nito.

She also sensed something in her self na parang there's something within her that she can't explain what it is. Though when she think about what happened to them with Kael. Parang may nabuo sa isip niya na maaaring nakapagpabago sa katawan niya. Its like her body is changing from its nature.

Saka she can actually sense it, since she's a med student. How can she not diba? Pero sana mali lang ang iniisip niya, dahil hindi pa sya handa sa magiging bunga ng isang gabi ng pagsasama nila.

On the other hand , Ellie thought that hindi na niya ish-share kila Via and Bryce. They already know too much about her, so she will keep it as a secret muna.

2 days had past, kaya before mas maging busy sa pagrereview si Ellie sa malapit na pagtatake ng bar exams ay inaya na niya si Celine na pumuntang mall.

It's best friend bonding time. Parang kelan land din yung last bonding nilang dalawa. Kaya she chatted her, for them to meet at the Starbucks sa loob ng mall.

Naligo na siya at agad na ring nag-ayos pagkatapos. After that is bumaba na si Ellie para makapagpaalam sa mommy niya.

"Ate Lyn si mommy po?"

"Nasa may garden miss Khloe." She nodded and say thanks to Ate lyn. She's been one of their helpers sa bahay ever since they're still a kid.

Iba iba ang gamit na pangalan nila when they call her. Her classmates used to call her Ellie while they called her as Khloe. Her parents and namn is depend on their mood.

Pumunta na sya sa garden at nakita niya namn ang mom dun, umiinom ng favorite shake nitong macha habang hawak ang isang magazine. Her mom likes matcha so much.

"Hi mom! Can I go to the mall?"

"Yeah, sure sweetie! Just drive safely okay?"

"Yes mom, may papabili ka po ba?"

"Nothing sweetie, who's with you btw?"

"Si Celine mom, we'll just catch up."

Pagkatapos ng maikli nilang usapan ng kanyang mommy ay agad na din siyang nagchat kila kuya Klyde niya that she will use the car they've gave to her.

Which she regretted because her kuya is insisting that their driver should drive, not her. Ngunit pinag-isa walang bahala na lang ito ni Ellie, instead she go to the mall without a driver. Siya na ang nagmamaneho without her kuyas knowing.

Pagdating sa mall ay kinuha niya ang kanyang phone upang tawagan si Celine. One ring, Celine immediately answer her call.

"I'm heading at the Starbucks, still there?" pagtatanong niya sa kabilang linya.

"Yeah, I'm ordering my fav coffee, you want me to order yours too?"

"Yes, please thanks! Coming!" Ellie said and cut the call.

Habang naglalakad papunta sa Starbucks ay nililibot niya naman ang kanyang mga mata. Namangha sa dami ng tao ngayong araw kahit wala naman upcoming holidays, it's like Christmas is coming dahil lahat ng tao ay sobrang busy sa kanilang binibili.

Dahil sa likod ng kanyang mga mata. It stop to someone that familiar to her. It's him.

He's with his girl. Holding her shopping bags while widely smiling. It looks like they are happy together.

It's Dale, her ex-boyfriend. He cheated on her, the same girl who's with him today.

But it's not her loss anyway. Why would she be bothered by their presence? She shrugged it off and walked out in the opposite direction without looking at them.

Pumasok naman siya agad ng Starbucks and when she sees Celine, she rushes to her table. They talked a little there to catch a little more, before they started to do shopping.

This is what they always do. It is their stress reliever, shopping, eating, drinking and talking a lot with their lives.

They are now holding 3 shopping bags with each of their hands. Pagkalabas sa Isang branded shop ay agad naman silang nagtatawanan dahil sa dami ng mga hawak nila.

After that they decide to eat , since they are both hungry already. But unfortunately, Ellie felt dizzy, she closed my eyes, to somewhat adjust what she felt, kaso bigla siyang napahinto and her surroundings are now moving.

Bago niya pa matawag ang pangalan ni Celine. Bigla nalang siyang natumba at nawalan ng malay.

Nang matumba si Ellie ay dun lang napahinto si Celine. Agad siyang napalingon sa tunog na gawa ng pagka tumba ni Ellie. She immediately run and shouted help.

Tinapik-tapik nya si Ellie but she's not responding anymore. Kaya naman agad na nagtawag ng ambulance ang guard sa mall.

They immediately go to the hospital. Celine on the other hand, forgot to inform Ellie's family because of worry. Hindi na nya naisip na i-contact ang mga ito dahil hindi sya mapakali sa resulta ng condition ni Ellie.

When the doctor was out of Ellie's room. Agad nya itong tinanong about her condition.

"Congratulations, you'll become a tita."

Pagkasabi ng doctor nun kay Celine. Her eyes was full of shock and confusion.

"What do you mean doc?" She asks because he didn't get what the doctor was saying.

"She's 3 weeks pregnant, ija. Tell her when she wakes up to avoid stressing and exhausting herself, dahil medjo mahina ang kapit ng bata."

Celine was still in shocked ngunit pinilit nyang i-digest ang sinabi ng doctor sa kanya. How come Ellie is pregnant? Who got her pregnant? When?S

Sa isip-isip nya.

Bago pumasok sa kwarto na kung saan naka-assign si Ellie. Umalis muna sya saglit at bumili ng makakain nila.

Nang makabalik ay nadatnan nyang gising na si Ellie. Ellie smiled at her despite the worry in her eyes. Because Ellie already senses what is happening.

Celine prepare their food, agad naman siyang kumain.

"Dahan dahan Ellie, para ka namang hindi nakakain ng isang buwan." pagsasaway nya kay Ellie dahil sa bilis nitong pag nguya.

"I'm really hungry. It's like I did fasting last week." Ellie complained.

Gusto ng magtanong ni Celine about what happened but seeing how hungry Ellie is. She saves it and will ask after they finish eating.

Nag ayos muna si Celine sa gamit nila bago umuwi. After that Celine sit beside Ellie and ask her without hesitation.

"What happened Ley? Who's the Father?"

Napatungo si Ellie and starts sniffing. Pintahan sya ni Celine, she let her cry it out first before talking.

"I-it w-was the party before the graduation. N-nag-aya ang kabatchmate namin nila Via and Bryce to go to the Bar, since we're all graduating."

pagsisimula niya.

"And after that because of the influence of alcohol, I was already drunk. Then, I bump into someone which caused us to kiss accidentally. That leads to an intimate one night stand."

"At sumama ka nalang ng ganun ganun lang?!"

"I-i was drunk, I was too carried away and not minding what will happened next, which it really happened." Ellie utter while still sniffing. She's crying dahil nagbunga ang isang gabing pagsasama nila ng isang taong saka nya lang din nakilala.

"And do you know the guy?" Celine ask worriedly

Napatango nalang si Ellie. Celine sighs and patted Ellie's back.

"Celine, can I ask you a favor?" may pag-aalinlangan niyang sabi nito.

"Yeah, sure what is it?"

"Can we keep this a secret? Can you not tell mom and dad, then sila ate? I don't want them to know what happened to us in the mall and my condition. Can you? Please." Ellie pleaded while tears were in her eyes.

Celine nodded and hugged her.
