Chapter 49

Lorie's pov.

I stared down at the puddles of rainwater formed by the constant rains for the past few days. The rain was hindering me from getting to work. It had always been raining and it was getting annoying really. It's not as if I hate the rain or something it's just that the rain was becoming too much and what was worse, I had left without my umbrella. I waited as the raindrops slowly became drizzles and finally came to an end.

I had woken up with an ominous feeling in my stomach. I couldn't help but feel as if something was wrong or was about to happen, it was the same feeling I got the night before our dad died. Elle was doing well now. She was feeling better as she could now come out of her room and even go to the garden. Was something wrong with Asher? Or Was it Me? Just to be safe, I will be extra careful today.
