With no energy left, Myra let Abram do whatever he wanted. What was the point of pushing him away when she didn’t even have the energy to raise her arm or when the entire office had witnessed the confrontation? The damage was done, and with that thought, she stayed limp. Noticing her hands dropping by her side in defeat, Abram stopped and moved away from her face.
