Myra gaped at the scene before her. 

He betrayed her again but what hurt her more was that her instinct too betrayed her this time. She couldn’t bear to hear the next word of Abram and ran away. She kept chanting while running. She ran as if there was a monster behind who was hunting her.

“Please don’t touch me," her pleading whisper left her mouth.

Elijah could cover the gap between him and Myra with his long legs while Sharon was keeping up. What surprised Sharon was Myra’s reaction.
