How did Lisa not be shocked, in the pitch-black midnight, she suddenly saw the dying person open his eyes wide, staring at her.

"Who are you?" Devan asked with his eyes bulging at Lisa. Devan was still lying weakly on the bed.

"I ... I'm the one who saved you from the evil kidnapper who abducted you," Lisa replied.

Devan held his chest, closing his eyes in pain.

"Don't talk too much for now, there's a lot of poison in your body, poison to slowly kill you," Lisa said, holding Devan's hand. Devan immediately pulled his hand away to avoid being touched by Lisa.

"I'm sorry," Lisa apologized for touching him without permission.

"You should drink some milk first, to neutralize the poison in your body," Lisa continued, offering a glass of milk with a straw to Devan.

Devan took the glass from Lisa's hand and put the straw into his mouth with his own hand, seeming reluctant to touch Lisa.

After just a few sips, Devan immediately started coughing.

"Cough, cough, cough."
