Part 27

Devan and Lisa had been working hard all day, cleaning Devan's grandmother's long-abandoned house. They had spent hours clearing away dust, rearranging furniture, and fixing some parts of the house that were damaged. Now, evening had arrived, and they felt deeply exhausted.

Lisa glanced over at Devan, who was sitting wearily on the sofa in the living room. His face was slightly pale, and his eyes looked tired. Without saying a word, Lisa decided to make some iced tea for Devan, hoping the drink would rejuvenate him.

"Devan, I'll make you some iced tea. I think you could use a little break," Lisa said softly.

Devan nodded weakly, "Thank you, Lisa. I do feel very tired."

Lisa hurried off to the kitchen, leaving Devan alone in the living room. She opened the cupboard and took out a large glass adorned with flowers on the rim. Then, she filled the glass with ice cubes and poured freshly brewed cold tea into it. Lisa added a bit of honey and slices of lemon to give it a refreshing taste.
