Chapter Forty

Sophia immediately took the merger contract to her father in his house and showed him. Douglas, Sophia's father was equally stunned as his daughter. He also brought out his own copy of the contract to see that it was the same thing; 49 percent for him and 51 for the Grandes.

"What sort of treachery is this!" he roared.

"Alexander is the one responsible for this and I don't know how he did it" Sophia said.

"Perhaps his parents are involved in this. Especially that woman, Claudia. She is a very cunning and devilish woman" Douglas said.

"You're right dad" Sophia said.

"I'm not going to take this lightly" Douglas said.

Without any further ado, Douglas called Felix for an urgent meeting at the Invicta. That same evening, Douglas was at the Grandes mansion. He went there because Felix and Claudia insisted that they could not go to the Invicta that evening.

They were at the living room upstairs and Douglas showed Felix and Claudia the merger contract. The Grande couple were equally surprised
