Kyle’s hand was placed on his cheek, which was still stinging due to Chloe’s slap, “I AM LOOKING FOR A LAWYER. FOR ABIGAIL.”
Now why his voice was shivering like hell? Chloe could not understand. For some reason, Kyle seemed frightened.
Was he on drugs? Or is it his old flame for Abi?
Chloe lifted her hand to slap him again but this time Kyle held it roughly, “Do it again and you are finished.”
“And you arrange a lawyer for her and YOU are finished. You moron!” She shot back. Nobody could suppress Chloe Mason.
“Stop acting so childish, Chloe. Soon you would be a mother too. Can you act like a grown up? Just for once?” Kyle was back after a long meeting with a lawyer.
