Damian

  Ophelia told me she was going to the store today, so when she left, I thought nothing of it. A few hours passed, and I had not seen her come back. I tried calling her, but she didn’t answer. She always answers my calls. I sent her a text and still nothing. I went back to the cabin. Maybe I missed seeing her pass. 

  She was not in the cabin. I called her again, but still no answer. I called again, still no answer. My heart rate was rising as I thought of all the things that could be wrong. 

  I sent her a text, but no reply. I called her again, no answer. I was in full panic mode. Something was wrong. This was not like her to ignore my calls or texts. 

  I ran back to the main house and went inside. Mary and Joe were sitting at the island eating lunch, “I need to borrow the truck,” I said with urgency.
