The night before...

After returning to the quiet sanctuary of our room, we end up spending the majority of the night blissfully discussing our excitement for the Ceremony until the early hours of the morn. Without a care in the world, we ignore the darkened sky that continues to lighten outside as it transforms into a soft blue hue as it readies itself to host the gracious sun that is soon to take its place. We refuse to give in to our begging exhaustion as it hangs heavily above our heads; ignoring the sandman’s beckoning calls as he serenades us to rest, going against our better judgement of getting a full nights rest while we remain utterly content in one another’s company.

I listen attentively to my enthusiastic mate as the conversation of our future runs further than just Friday’s impending event. Without being aware, he unknowingly trails off into his plans of reformation for the great Luna City, adamant that he’ll achieve his goals within the next few years with me
