Sanjay asked making Orni paralyzed for a few moments," Do you want to meet your ma(mother)?"

" Ma is here?" Orni questioned back shockingly.

Before Sanjay could say anything further Srilekha's voice reached Orni's ear," Orni, my daughter."

Orni looked behind Sanjay and found a middle-aged woman standing there with teary eyes. Orni looked carefully at the woman and even forgot to breathe for a few seconds. The woman was looking so similar to her. The same eyes, same lips, same nose.........it didn't take a lot of effort for Orni to understand that this woman is her mother. She was overjoyed to see her mother for the first time.

" Ma," Orni let out with an inaudible voice.

Srilekha ran towards Orni and then pulled her into a tight hug. Hugging her back, Orni burst into hysterical sobbing. They both cried in each other's arms. Breaking the hug Srilekha cupped Orni's face affectionately. Caressing her cheeks she wiped away Orni's tears and kissed her forehead.
