Danny’s POV

*Ring*Ring*, “Yeah?”... “Transport is here”. Fucking great. “Okay, I’ll be there shortly. Let Liam know please”. Hanging up, I head out of the office to find Lee. Where has the old man escaped to? That man I swear. I wander around until I hear voices in the back kitchen.

I hear an unfamiliar, faint female voice that perks my wolf’s ears. Getting close enough, I hear grandpa talking. It’s my mate and she’s telling him about her childhood as an orphan. She goes on to mention the last year at Erik’s pack and without realizing, the door frame crumbles beneath my fist. Shit.
