When I got married, I was on cloud nine for one month. It felt like a dream to walk beside him as his wife.

Dad had given us an entire building to be used as our office where we could carry our business. The plan was to join the new office along with him but on our honeymoon, he kept convincing me to be a stay-at-home wife.

He wanted me to take care of the home and cook hot meals for him. The idea didn’t sit well with me initially as my father always pushed me to be an independent woman.

But I guess I got blind to his love.

It had been a week since he started going to the office. I sent him after serving him breakfast and got busy cleaning the house when the doorbell rang.

“Yes?” I went to the door and found a delivery guy standing there.

“You have got a delivery from Raphael Wyatt, ma’am.” The guy informed me.

“Daddy sent me a parcel!” I signed the receipt and brought the parcel inside with a big grin on my face. I was through and through Daddy’s girl.
