Chapter 36: No Name

In the middle of the night Father Federick woke up because of the chilly winds passing through his window which he forgot to close earlier that night. After properly locking the open windows in his room, he went to the kitchen as he got thirsty after going to the comfort room to urinate.

Despite being half awake, it did not come unnoticed when the subtle and shift rustling of bushes on the back of the apartment he was living in. His senses became sharp when peeping through the window blinds and saw an animal walking towards a human at its backgate.

The old man was rubbing his eyes to clearly see the event taking place outside the dim and dense mountain forest. Sadly, he could not recognize the person standing but the animal seems to be a dog or a wolf with a dark colored saddle bag on its back.

“It’s a wolf, isn’t it? Are they talking to each other?”
