Chapter Nineteen:
Eventually, it was time to get up. My alarm went off, and I groaned with sleepiness. My eyes felt like someone splashed acid into them as I gently shook Vasha’s shoulder. She stirred slightly, but stayed asleep.
“Come on, little bat. You’ll miss your flight.” My voice caught emotionally as I rested on my side to pull her close to my chest. My girlfriend shifted so that she was facing me with an exhausted scowl. Even half asleep, my girlfiend was breathtaking.
Her name really suited her; Vasilisa the beautiful.
“Nggnnnn...no detka. I’m tired.” She grumbled, flinging her arm around my waist and mewling under her breath. I couldn’t help but smile as I stroked her temple.
