I got woken from my sleep with my front door get knocked loudly. I had a feeling who it was. I grabbed my phone and saw I had three missed calls from Jake and a text too. I knew it was him at the door. I opened the text to see what it said.

Baby girl, I need you to answer your phone. I beg you. I need to talk to you. It is important. Please, Becca, call me back X

I didn’t text back because I knew he was currently at my door. I hear Paula opening the door. I quietly made my way out of my room, just standing outside.

“Jake, what are you doing here? Rebecca isn’t ready to see you,” She said.

“Please, Paula, I need to see her,” He begged.
